good idea. It works during icefishing so well for multispecies I don't see why it wouldn't work in open water!

i do not tip the ratso, i just balance it under a slender float so that the lightest tug pulls it under.

I have found it to out-perform any other presentation.

I don't use a slipbobber for my flies since my big bluegill lake is so weedy. I use my crickets in the subsurface film...maybe 3-4" under the surface of the water. Yesterday the gills were so finicky they were just barely hitting the end of the cricket fly. It was wierd because the last time I was there they were even smacking the clear bubble! I bet a slipbobber would be best with a ratso though.
