Saw it in the local newspaper. Hard to break records nowadays so congrats to him.   

Got out in the boat for a few hours this morning on a local lake, fish fry tonight.

Different section than sunday...
Not as productive  but he had a great time

Not nasty it's a hellbender and protected pretty much everywhere it lives and one cool salamander I hope you didn't kill it because a lot of work has been done to keep them from disappearing

Oh I know it's a hellbender.. still nasty!!! Lol
The slime that was on that thing was incredible!!!!
Note the price of it in the water!! Still swimming today

That’s real neat John. I saw one on the ice this year ice fishing I bay and luckily it was still alive and I put it back down the hole. I wonder why people just kill them. Makes no sense to me.

Almost forgot. I had a chance to fish a fingerlake yesterday.  First outing since my return from LA. Not the size of Erie’s fish, but descent.
