Thats not good at all! id hate to see a great fishery like the Lower Potmac ruined because of these pests! Im curious to know how they fare in Saltwater, it could be even more bad news if they hit the Chesepeake. The plus side is that hopefully the Chain Bridge will cut off any from migrating to the Upper Potomac. They seem to resemble a bowfin alot, which are also in the Lower Potomac, hopefully they wont get mistaken for snakeheads, and snakeheads mistaken for bowfins. A mess for sure! Just hope if anyone else catchs them, they know to kill them and not throw it back. I wonder if Tiger Muskys will munch em too.

FDC, I'm also concerned about that.  However, these things can walk on land, so the falls at Chain Bridge may not be an obstacle at all some day...
