Lakers

Santo180:
Just read an interesting article about lakers in northern Canada.  It was saying that many of the lakes up there are scarce on forage and some of the lakers actually migrate to the saltwater for food.  Never heard of that before.  Wonder if anybody has ever caught a laker in the ocean.

Bill Dance:
Nope I never have caught a laker in the ocean or even heard of of that.  ???

fontona19:
I have never heard of that before, but would love to catch a laker that spent some time feeding in the deep blue.  ;)

Santo180:
It was in the most recent issue of in-fishermen.

Wow maybe they're tapping into a resource that we need to tap into. Those things would be huge feeding in the ocean. I know that brook trout and rainbows can go out to the ocean but never heard of lakers.
