Fishing report from last Saturday.  A friend and I launched at Godfrey about 8:15 and started fishing around 8:30. My friend is a novice and has never caught a walleye before.  We fished between 7 and 17 feet of water. I started off with a small mouth on a walleye diver.  Next, he caught an undersize walleye and sheep head on a jig tipped with a worm.  We end up catching 7 walleye, 2 sheep head and 2 bass for the day.  The walleye were caught on jigs (qty 4) and clown pattern walleye diver (qty 3). The bite was a bit slow, but still a relatively successful day.

Well dunked the boat late this morning
Got a little bumpy 3s , wife doesn’t jig so we each managed a limit of eaters trolling ,
Shad raps off board with snap weights and spoons off lead core , fish came from , 30-35’ and water temp was 71.2* when we left early afternoon
Weather was pleasant , but a slow ride coming back from the south side and a little damp 😃
Wish it hadn’t been so lumpy as the fish were on the bite
