Title: tackle store!
Post by: synergyboy10 on Jun 25, 2006, 06:38 PM
Ive started making harness for walleye last year and i run low on blades. i was wondering were you guys get your blades. I got some from Gander last year and they don't have a great selection this year. Any help would be appreciated.

Nick, try this site http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/spinner-blades/ (http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/spinner-blades/).  I used to order a lot of my supplies from here when I used to make my own lures.  I also used to get all of my beads from harnesses from craft stores instead of tackle shops.  They're cheaper and usually have a better selection.

Janns netcraft is a good bet if you order in quantity. I like to go to Rainbow Sports on Oliver street in North Tonawanda. He has everthing under the sun for making worm harnesses. The prices may be a little higher than mail order, but it is a cool little store and I do not think you will be disapointed. Try it and see for yourself.

"Rainbow Sports" on OliverStreet, North Tonowanda. They have EVERY shape, size, color, and pattern made of both blades and beads. Absolutely incredible selection. Most blades are in 10 packs for about $2.29; beads, 50 for about $2.00 including the very deadly and very difficult to get egg shaped green glow in the dark beads.
