Title: First lakes to fish after ice

Which lakes usually thaw first? Deeper lakes usually hold their ice longer than shallower b.o.w. With that being said Willow Slough should be the first target lake around. Can't wait !!!!!!

pUT NEW TAGS ON BOAT. charging UP THE BATTERIES. dusted THE rods and reels off and retied . Going to put the ears on motor tomorrow to see if it still runs. Planning on Sunday madian voyage for 2019. Who else???

Quite a few including myself have already been out a few times . Have been seeing a few boats being pulled around the last two days also

The slough has been fished, also, lake Michigan. Which others are open now?

Ran over to the local State Park today and got the soft water season started.
Had a dink take a shot at a hair jig that was just about as heavy as it was...

Hows the water clarity in michigan city after the rain yesterday? Was going to drive up and try in the harbor this weekend.

Not sure haven't been there since Thursday .
But We got rain last night and wind and rain today and tonight for the forecast ( Ill be there anyway ) probably muddy

I think I will take the grandkids to Michigan City in the morning. Is there any place to buy spawn, we have been using shrimp and crawlers.
