Iceman, I guess we now know who the fisherman is in your boat. We have all had the skunk in the boat a few times. As F&R said, wait until next time. I was planning on going this morning but remembered I have to have some blood work done.....h2l

H2l my cousin said he is my good luck charm, I say it's the worms I bought at Stewart's instead of Jim's bait shop.

What is the biggest walleye anyone here has caught?  I heard of a guy catching a 10lb fish the other day, that seems like that would be huge for GSL, maybe not?

Side note - - any recommendations on fishing up in Edinburg area?  I have not spent much time up in that section, but I assume around the bridge piers would be decent.

Any fish, not just walleye - I am an equal opportunity fisherman!

Jacon, my biggest was 26 inches. Biggest I ever saw was close to 30" and was pushing 10lbs. I saw the fish on the ice. The guy had never fished the lake before and was taking it home to EAT. I think I talked him into putting in on the wall, that was 8/10 years ago....h2l

I do when I jig but I also use bottom bouncers and spinners with a crawler when trolling.

Day three at Northampton Beach. Didn’t bring the canoe, with all that the bride and princess pack for a 5-day camping trip I could muster up the energy to laid it up.

I am going out first thing tomorrow to see if I can find some pan fish from shore. Was going to do that this morning but the rain I didn’t see coming overnight made me adjust my plan.

Beautiful lake. The ladies have enjoyed paddle boarding off the sand bar

ActiveTrapChecker, I should have come and set on the beach with you. Good Luck fishing from shore, you may do better than I did today. 1 bass and 1 short walleye. It got pretty warm out there. Marked a lot of fish just couldn't get them to hit...h2l

Iceman, the fish I was marking were 2 to 5 feet off bottom. Water temp 76*.
