I took advantage of an "early dismissal" from work today and tried my luck on the South Hoosic in Adams from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.
It was sunny and 82 degrees.
I fished the lower end of my milk run and did pretty well: a 13" rainbow below the small roll dam and a 15" one at Elm Rock.
Then I headed home to get ready to go to a dinner with my wife and some friends at the local fish and game club: lobster, venison, bread, clam chowder, corn on the cob, cole slaw and strawberry shortcake.
