My office closed early today for the holiday, so I was able to get out on the South Hoosic in Adams from around 2 to 3:30 PM this afternoon.
The weather was overcast and cool (44 degrees), while water levels were average.
I fished my milk run, starting by Mullen Mayflower and working my way downstream until I finally tied into and landed an 11" brown beneath the small roll dam above ALADCO.
It wasn't much, but a singleton beats a skunk, so after giving ALADCO a try without any other hits, I eased on down the road back to my car and drove home.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
