I guess we all have to learn the hard way. Push sticks can be replaced fingers can’t. I have had fingers stitched up doing stupid things with my tablesaw. Now when the blade is on all thoughts are on that rotating blade. It’s easy to get complacent when you’ve been doing it so long.

Massachusetts / North Hoosic
« Last post by bogtrotter on May 25, 2024, 06:45 PM »
I fished the North Hoosic from 2 to 3 PM.

It was sunny and 80 degrees.  Stream levels were down quite a bit.

I started by the entrance to the Natural Marble Bridge State Park, and after doing nothing, drove downstream to the roll dam and  then waded further down past Old Glory Rock and below the Eclipse Mill dam.

Just below the dam, I landed a 12" and a 14" rainbow, but didn't have any more hits after that.

Glad you got into them.  Lots of fun at night.
I’ve had walleye hit my bait within rod length plenty of times… but, what a rush when a striper smashes it within rod length! Crazy!!
