Spring signs.
« on: Mar 29, 2006, 01:21 PM »
Well spring has finally sprung and the days are warming up. I went for a walk yesterday and noticed a little lump moving in the snow I got closer and found this. :o

This wee guy is a tree frog, I don't think I have ever seen that type out this early hopefully that is a good sign that the snow will be gone soon. ;D

If any of you have signs of spring feel free to add them to mine. :)

Happy Easter everyone. :)
I went out for a drive today on this fine Good Friday and snapped a few wildlife photos.

This is a small sample of the number of geese that were out there a hole field was almost covered and I saw several fields of snow geese, blue and lesser Canada's.

On the way home I came across this animal far off in the field, as I zoomed in with the camera I realized that it was a coyote carrying some small mammal in it's mouth, I think it was a rabbit. Just before I took it's photo it dropped it's prey and watched me suspiciously. I snapped the photo and he quickly picked up it's prize and disappeared over the hills.
