His first big trip
« on: Jun 19, 2007, 01:47 PM »
I got invited to take my son to the St Lawrence river over fathers day weekend to do some fishing. I've had him out many times to fish and he does pretty good so I figured he'd be OK. This was a trip that I will never forget and I hope he will remember it as long as I will.

Here is what he did while dad needed a little rest ;)

And last but not least, this is what happens when he just kept going and going till he couldn't go any more ;D

This was one of the most memorable trips ever for me

THAT is what it is all about!!!  You 'da MAN!!!

Glad you have a fishing buddy, keep him interested and you'll make his life better by far.  One of my biggest regrets is that I met my wife later in life, and she already had 3 kids. 14, 16, 18 years old and rarely want to spend time with us.  I'd give a million dollars for moments like you just shared.  Thanks!!

Looks an awful lot like Shermerhorn's Landing.

Boy do I miss that stretch of water..................especially "the ledge".

Great pics - I'm sure he'll always remember the times with you.
