Gentleman at work asked me if I’d like to hit quabbin one last time so I jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately, and fortunately, he was planning on hitting Pottapaug for some largemouth action. I had all my gear so after a couple of lure changes I was ready for larries. Fished from like 7-12 and landed about a dozen fish total. The large majority were small fish, with one 2lber that I got right out of the gate. The captain was snagged on a tree branch so I took the opportunity to pitch my jig into some heavier cover and was rewarded w the big fish of the day at just shy of 5lbs and my biggest largemouth of the season. Great way to close out the season at quabbin.

Unfortunately when you aren't the owner of the boat you just go with the flow. It was an enjoyable day regardless of what we targeted. And TBH after all of the trout fishing on the fly rod it was a nice change of pace. Don't need a size 22 zebra midge for a largemouth.
