 I've been a member of IceShanty since december, and that place is quite active!

 But.....man this place don't look like much ever goes on

this place isn't as old... it has been in existance for only like 3 years,   When I joined which was 3 years ago this coming monday, I was in the first 50-100 I think... and sionce this is an open water site, not many have come over yet, but welcome!!!! It will perk up in the next few weeks

Much of the iceshanty population will switch over here in the next 4 weeks or so. By april and may, it will be buzzing. Hang in there

it will pick up soon but dont expect it to be exactly like iceshanty. softwaterfisherman and ice fisherman are different breeds.

I check all the time but havent been fishing in a few weeks so i have nothing to post as of now.  Hopefully it will start picking up as the weather gets warmer and people start getting out.

People are making the transition, It takes awhile for some to put the ice fishing gear away.  You have to tell all those short poles and that auger that it is for the best and  you won't forget about them.

i use all my ice-fishing poles for jigging in the summer too.  almost all my ice-fishing gear except my arctic wear.

I haven't wet a line in 7 weeks
My wife had our 2nd daughter in April and after that it's been Honey-do Hell.
Fishing Boysen this weekend though with my Uncle.  Hopefully the bite will be on.

Hmmmm...I was wondering how that would be...anchored, stable and jigging over the side of the boat in say 20 ft with the VXR hanging over and tattling on the perch.
