The awesome power of lightning. THis is from a storm that struck my friends tree the other day. The bolt tore a hole in the ground and fried the phone line going into her house and the electric lines going to her pool and deck.

Roy cool pics, I have seen a tree reduced to splinters, they were embeded in the trees next to it. Crazy stuff.
