who says you need to fish for catfish at night, and with stinky bait   ;D  my buddy got this during the day on a crawler, 2nd one this yr about the same time from same place. weighed 3lb 12oz and was a good fighter. managed a few perch and a pike that got away just as we were going to take the pic before release.  guess it was not a bad day after losing the trolling motor last night. at least the new one will be here soon :thumbup_smilie:

Try the same spot at night, the numbers may go up. As for size that's a beauty.

sorry not actually lost, it developed an issue late last yr. the guy in the pic is taking an electrical class and decided he would try to fix it.....well he got it going again but the throttle was stuck at full speed no matter where the lever was. well he took more time and got it going. we put the cover back on the other night tested it and nothing. removed the cover and got it going again but only on full throttle. after a few minutes we said screw it let's get a new one. the one we had was given to us, it's from 1982 guess it's done the job for a while now  :-\

Nice cat man!
The angle of the dangle is directly proportionate to the heat of the beat.

yes kitty kitty are fun to catch.
I caught a 26# - 32" channel catfish last year while crappie fishing with a 2" grub an a 1/8 oz jig and 6# mono. It was a bear to pull up for a netting.  :D

Keep on sharing those kitty pics, can't wait to see the monsters you catch there at night.  ;)
