great action shot there bartman.  :thumbup_smilie: is that a smallie or trout on a fly rod?
still a greatly timed shot, WTG, sure does look fun.  ;D

Neither Camo, that was a Coho Salmon on the end of Marbury's fly rod.

Hopefully not. I stopped to deer hunt, but thursday night tagged a 5 point. I am hoping Chenango river will go down far enough for at least one walleye trip this year. Maybe I will hit up and all year trout spot.

If you're not fishing this time of year, you're missing out

That's what I was trying to say, SB.  8)

nice looking wallies, there slipbob.
Did you make it out on this windy day?
I rode around Toga this afternoon and only saw one duck hunter pulling out of the water about 2-ish.

Toga was splashing up on the northern road all the way down to fitch rd.
I can only think the waves on the sac. res. were rolling, with the high waters it has tooooo.
The high water was great in the spring this year.
Can't wait till next year but come on ice.  ;)  Fish On!

I'll have a report after my tournament at Canandaigua tomorrow.

Tomorrow sounds like a great day for fishing.    Doesn't it?   Please tell me that it does!!!  PLEASE!!

I'll get on the computer after I dry off a touch    :-\

As promised.........

Weather turned out decent, although it was wet and chilly.  The wind held off until the end of the day, but by then we were quite damp around the edges and the wind blew right through us.

Never caught a bass Saturday.  Although I did well prefishing well a week and a half earlier, catching decent bass in 25-65 feet of water, I couldn't even stumble into one tournament day.  Others did, however, and the average bag went 16 pounds or so.  Winner had 20+

BUT!!!

If you are after very small lake trout, say in the 18 inch range, you might want to try a jigging spoon near creek mouth points, starting around 35 fow.    :-\

Thanks man.  Finally getting a boat has made a big difference in the numbers of walleyes I'm catching versus fishing from shore all the time :D

I got out last night and got my first "Falleye". It's also my new personal best! Hit the water with Big J 2520, he got skunked (again). Soon enough Greg it will happen ;D. Anyway measured 25" and weighed in a little over 6 pounds! Did some exploring and fished an area I hadn't fished before. I will be going back. 8) The weather for the weekend is looking good.

Back at the launch

And a signature "Slipbob" style pic.LOL
