the perch fishing has been pretty good in lake ontario this year. i've caught more perch in the lake this year than ever. i've caught them trolling for sm bass, jigging and drifting for bass, then after targetting them, caught them near rocky bottoms in 5-8 fow in front of rocky bluffs. mostly with minnow halves or whole minnows on a jig.
