What different approaches do you use when flows and water levels are low when fly fishing for trout?  I fish riffles and runs and the faster water with my dries.

Soft Hackles, Nymphs  on light tipet during the day, morning and evening can be dependent on insect activity but buggers and streamers can still catch fish in clear water. I'm a big fan of throwing terestrials or stimulators along tall grass and weed banks along long runs early morning and watch lunker browns explode on them. I also try and fish almost excusively on overcast day, in the rain if need be, limiting my false casts as much as possible. A Sunny day means watching where your my shadow is falling and working up stream a lot or swinging thru undercuts, brush ect ect....
We were biting this morning, we were biting this morning, we were biting this morning......
