this one great "HERITAGE strain brookie,windfall strain self-sustaining population
there are about 10 ponds with them  .spawns in inlets/outlets max weight netted 4lb. 18in
lives to about 5 plus years they NEED A MONOCULTURE. only brookies,i hope we can do

I'm sure the record will be broken many times and the old one will never be reached , 6 lbs is out of my reach for sure great pics guys

Awesome Brookie pics!  I'd love to catch one of those ginormous ones.  Funny thing is, we catch 6 pound Lakers day in and day out on Lake George during the winter.  So, I guess in some ways we've all caught 6 pounders.  That's not dissing any trophy Brookies- just sayin': "IF you've ever caught a decent Laker, it gives you an idea of what it must be like to catch a trophy Brookie.

It seems odd that a hybrid would qulify as a brook trout.
