Is it true that perch have posion in there spines. My hand is hurting today from handeling many of them yesterday.

nope, no poison in either white or yellow perch spines...good chance of an infection though

Most likely a bacterial infection, wash it out!

Pasquatch has it right. Just got back from Erie on a great perchin trip and have 2 infected cuts from spines. Should have cleaned them out better.
