It is also very possible that the state record walleye out of this Mystic Lake was not actually caught there. Maybe the guy didn’t want the word to get out about where it was caught so he said Mystic Lake .....

In fact it was not caught on mystic lake.. there is a story behind it!! It was caught on reservation on kinzua!!! I was good friends with the fish biologist at that time and we had SEVERAL in depth conversations in regards to this fish!!

It can't be optional because it has to be caught in NYS.. what they told me when I asked if they really thought it was caught in mystic lake was...." It's not up to the state to investigate what body of water the fish was caught in, our responsibility is the verify the scales used, verify that there are no enhancements to the fish and that the angler has a legal NYS license"
Anyways It doesn't matter now cause that record has been broke!!! Congrats to the new holder on an amazing fish

, I guess that’s where honesty comes into play , then I guess the question should read was it caught in NY , it does say was the information given truthful and if it’s not it’s called
