Me the wife and son got out for a few hrs . Started out as a perfect day with over cast no wind and perfect temps ! We started getting in to the gills rite away . With a free crapie mixed in . They were holding tight to the lilies and docks. If you were a foot off either forget it.  You had to be almost touching it .I used red wiggles all day and my wife and son used waxies . Didn't matter they wanted both ! Caught e few male gills in there beds and a few big red ear females on the beds that we let go . The winds picked up and temps dropped and boom that was it ! I think the last HR and a half we cought three or four . All fish caught about 1.5 ft under bobber . Won't be long any day the week be on the beds full bore !!! All in all it was a great day out with the family..

Ahhh  ha ! They did ....  Ya it was a blast very relaxing day . And going to be a good dinner tonight I just picked a bunch of pheasant backs and some chicken of the woods so dinner can't come soon enough
