Can anyone explain where Flume Creek is? GF has stocked almost 90000 kokanee this year and I would like to check that out in a couple years!

Appleye:

Flume Creek is below Fontenelle Reservoir in Sweetwater County.   It is closed to fishing throughout the year so you would not be able to fish the creek, you could check it out, just can't fish it.

G&F spawns kokanee salmon in this area.

According to the G&F fish stocking report they have stocked 100,808 kokanee in Flume Creek in 2018.

Thanks. I guess I don't need to find were to float a boat there then. LOL I'm glad the GF is stocking more and more kokanee. I do like like eating them.

Flume Creek is a tiny little stream below Fontenelle Dam that the Kokanee swim up into a building to take spawn. It's only a few hundred feet from the Green River up to the spawning Shack
