interesting pics TH....i think we talked briefly about those last trip...reminds me of my ex boss....had a topline crestliner tourney boat afew years ago...headed up to some unknown part of the assiniboine...you should have seen the hull when he got back...never mind what his expensive prop looked like...used it for grinding fish and rocks....ho hum to him....got a new prop...and sent the boat to the body shop....too much money i guess.....and likely whacked a few fish running the shallows...maybe one of these met up with him.....grump ??? ???

That's kinda what Rm and myself were thinking I got some more on the way of battle wounds.

Somebody posted a note some time back about open sores on channel cats.  Said it was a bacterial skin infection that mostly hits males after spawning, and may go right to the bone, but the cats recover over the fall and winter.  Some of the sores on your cats may be due to the infection, but others could well be boat traffic and prop cuts.

Here is a 22" I got last night that has a nasty under his mouth.

MMMMM!
Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!

Hey trophy that cat and I have something in common. No tail happening here either. God I have sick humour. I agree with Grump as the river is so shallow that many are probably getting hit.

I have a pic. similar to this with brown trout. It isn't of me, but of my brother. It was during the spawn he cauhgt like a 17 " male with a huge chunk out of it.
