My tomatoes are coming on strong. Been eating them every day. The farmers market in the village has been providing everything else. Nice to buy from the actual grower.

Our tomatoes are slow this year

I did some dill pickles yesterday with a nice Hungarian hot pepper in each jar. The initial samples are very tasty.  One jar didn't seal completely. At least that's what I told my Bride. I process mine. They get better with age ;D

Salsa yesterday. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!



Gonna do another batch Thursday. This time I'm gonna mix in some green tomatoes :w00t: got some jalapeņos from the farm market  this afternoon. Did this batch with Hungarian Hot Peppers. Nice heat, not overwhelming.
 My Bride approved.....she's a tough audience.

We don't do salsa but we make lots of some mean Chile sauce....
I always put a jar or two in my venison burgers when I grind them up...     ;D ;D ;D

I  am growing  romaine  ends  in my Garden
& I  have  regrew them  &  had them  in a salad

they were good but not as Sweet     as they were in the bag

Sounds yummy. Next batch is chopped and ready to go. Then I discovered I was out of pt jars. It'll wait till tomorrow.
