Meantime, back at the play farm.........Rg's plant starter is in operation.

So far, 2 types of slicing cukes, 3 varieties of pickles, 2 varieties of jalapeņo peppers, sweet banana peppers and 3 colors of bell peppers.

Next comes the floral plantings for Mama ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Hippie!

Every time I take a batch of brownies to work for the gang, they ask if they're " special" .

Yeah, you're right Matt. But, a couple of the varieties are specifically for my pickle jars. We love our pickles ;D

Tell them that everything you do for them is special.

Thanks Dom. Filled the rest of the pods this morning. 3 varieties of Marigolds, Moon Flowers, 3 kinds of Morning Glory, 2 types of perennial Alyssum, beefsteak, better boy and jubilee tomatoes. Oh yeah, also some  cinnamon and dark opal basil.

Anything else I plant will be direct sow.

Did quite a bit outdoors yesterday after work. Picked up and burned all the branches from mine and my neighbor's yards, tilled the little plot at the back of the house, fired up the hand mower and did a little trimmin ( the grass is starting to take off already) put some fencing over the raised beds to keep out the red squirrel that's been digging holes, pulled the deck off the tractor to do some spring maintenance........and then.......had a couple of beers while I watched the fire ;D

It was super nice to be out playing in the yard.
Now it's gonna rain for 2 days. :-\

That's a lot of green Dom. Looking great.

I decided to turn a nice Dibbler for planting this year.

Very comfortable feeling. I've used one for years. This one is pretty nice ;D

If any of my gardening friends would like one, just let me know.
