Title: Fall Colors!!!

 I headed to the salmon lake close to home this morning. I didn't happen to catch any salmon but I did find the hiding spot for the Brookies. Ended the morning@ 11:00am with four trout, four bass and a few missed fish. I had the lake to myself and had a great time not dodging boats.

Plus I had these loons following me around looking for hand outs. I did release the trout but they all went right to the bottom.

Here's a picture of HuntFishSled from last week. That trip we caught three Lakers and five Salmon .

Nice fish.  Those are some plump brookies.  The halos really jump out on that one that wouldn't sit still for his picture ;D

I'll take those plump brookies over the big togue any day. Not much for brookies around here anymore, mostly bows, they have cut way back on the browns. :'(

Really pretty fish! I love this time of year. The fish are so bright, and the tourists are so gone!

Well I went back out fishing this morning. I went to my togue lake with no luck I fished until 9:30.When I had the boat on the trailer,I wasn't ready to stop fishing yet so I went to the brookie hole. The wind was pretty strong but I ended up catching another nice brookie and a little salmon. Fishing was tough today and I wish I could get into the salmon.
