Black Hills Bass

I've been wanting to get into hunting down some bass in the area the past couple years, but never really knew where to start.  I fish Pactola and Sheridan a lot, and I have seen a couple bass pulled from each lake, but I haven't really chased them yet.  What do you guys suggest as far as lake, location, bait?

Stockade and use the list I already sent you, plus white spinners work good for bass and pike in there. Especially around the little point and off rocks...

Thanks Rich!  I don't get down to stockade very often.  I'll have to make a trip down there sometime soon.  Want to come with?

I'm in Spearfish during the week and get off at 5 if you want to hit Orman or something by Spearfish one afternoon evening.  Otherwise I'm in Rapid on the weekend!

Go to Sheridan in July for the best bass fishing in the hills. Use Senkos or plastic worms, or jigs, and just beat the banks.
