Rg those b☆☆☆☆ creek flies are awesome may want to consider a tuft of poly yarn high vis on top of them like orange or pink... for hopticator fishing  not sure if running a dropper fly or second fly is legal were you fish in new York or not..any how the poly yarn I have added was were you tied in the rubber legs at. As you do the wraps for those I place a tuft of bright colored yarn on top..also will fish a nymph behind it and use it as a indycator...

Rg...

I just spoke with a friend concerning the weave technique we were talking about (McGinty). He told me that you tie in your two colors and take the one you choose to start with first completely around the hook. Then, cross the second color over top of the first and make a complete turn around the hook with it. Repeat the process until you reach your tie off point. Unlike the b***h creek weave which only takes one color over the top then cross over and the other color under the bottom then cross over.

I hope this explanation isn't too confusing. Once he started to explain it to me, it came back to me in my mind so I believe this is correct.

I'm gonna send you a camera if you don't buy one ;D

I think I get it. I'M fishin tomorrow morning. Rain coming in mid day. Thunderstorms......don't like big sparks, so, I'll be out early......home early. Got a wreck of a rod I'm re finishing for my fishing mentor. It's going in the lathe tomorrow. Had to strip the finish off the entire rod with an exact-o  knife. Tedious :-\  Now I have to sand it and apply new finish to the blank.  Then I can wrap it.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I've seen several videos on that style weave with wire. I bought some "beading" wire at a local craft store that seems a bit large for most trout patterns but I thought it would work well for larger nymphs if woven like that for smallmouth or maybe larger trout patterns on bigger/deeper waters where heavier stuff is OK.

DAMMIT!!.... Now you got my wheels spinnin' again!!  ;D
