hey gremlin, see that wooden fly tieing thing that holds the tools and stuff on KC's table, I have one made of cherry just like it, if you want it, just stop bye, I never use it.   I just clamp my vice too kitchen table theses days.
Thanks Shane, that would be great. Didn't know you were into tying. I'm just a beginner myself, woolleybuggers, hares ears, and pheasant tails. that's about it.
If i ever get up there steel heading this yr i will stop by.

KC, love the bench. What a great find.

My little bench has been progressing. It's getting very comfortable.

Made a back board for storage of stuff at hand.

The carousels work the nuts.

Fun stuff to tinker with.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Of course you do realize that I clean it up for pictures? It goes in spurts. I'll get into a pattern and there's stuff all over. Then I clean up and switch gears.  I'm about done tying flies for the ice, which I doubt we'll even see this winter. So it's on to the spring patterns.  ;D

Thanks,
It's a work in progress. Still a little tweaking to do, but that's always fun.

That's not a fly tying bench, it's a laboratory.   Don't see the beer tap sticking up out of it yet.

I'll be throwing up some fly posts soon as I'm going to start tying again. After more than 2 years of pain I finally had to  have elbow surgery just before Christmas and the doc said I can start tying (but not fishing) so to keep my sanity I'll be at the bench this winter. Hope to be fishing again in April if rehab works out well.

BTW - I have two sets of scissors on my bench, you have more than a barber (LOL)

Let's see some flies everybody.
