Title: First Day on open water

Hey everyone. Had my first day out on the lakes yesterday. Started out at Muir Lake, hunting down the 'bows. Got two, one 18", and one 24". Lost another almost as big.  Went to my secret little lake as well, saw some MASSIVE pike sitting in the shallows getting warm, but no bites!

havent  really had a great chance to spend that much time out there, i was just firing out some small spoons to get out there.  I had wanted to use the fly rod but the reel seat decided to fall off.

got out today. they were biting on adams. they were biting pretty aggresively after i found them.

Yesterday we went out to Coal Lake for a morning trip. We caught 5 jack in total but unfortunately none of them were keepers. it felt great to finally get out  though. I can't wait till next Saturday!!!!!

How did everybody else make out yesterday?

hit up four lakes this weekend. The first three were all totally worthless.  But  getting onto the 4th lake got us about 20 'eyes each at our seceret lake... yeah right. haha.
