Post by: meandcuznalfy on Mar 22, 2019, 09:50 PM
Was wondering if anyone else is catching up on chores around the house while waiting for ice out.

Oh yea, lots of them, Ice fished yesterday emptied the truck today, first time I've seen the entire bed since November,  emptied the bait tank and put it away, took the batteries out of the ice fishing electronics and stored everything, looked at the garden, rain kept me from rototilling it..
All my aquariums need attention, .I'll do that next week.

Talked to a guy yesterday while stocking trout and he said Duck Harbor had 14in+ on Apr 1st. PFBC had to ise a chain saw to open up a hole. Come on Mr Sun, and btw, if I see Phil the groundhog, I'll give him some left over rounds from deer season.  :P  FT

It's alot of work, looks like you got a good jump on it, I did mine about 15 years ago..she's creaking again, but she's 43, she has a right to be creaky.

Hard part is over, stripping that nasty old carpet was horrible. Here is a tip I wish someone had given me... if you are pulling all the carpet out of your boat, make sure you vacuum it first!
