SE end is in pretty good shape, wish I could say the same for my 8' row boat. Water is about 8" high but receding with a nice 36 degree breeze. Have to break out the waders now my row boat is in the scrap pile.

Tons of shad in east canal this morning but not one eye even rolled jigging wall. Shad look healthy and about 3" long.

Dropped one in the canal tonight and saw only 1 other rise but looked like it may have been a smallmouth.  My barometer is reading high which may have turned the shallow fish off.  Tons of bait around and seagulls had a field day.  It'll happen soon enough once everything aligns right

The Friday night team eye fishing was pretty slow to almost nonexistent, out of 8 teams only 1 fish came to the scale and 2 teams were in boats, water was dirty and I was told the water temp was 48*, there were shad and buckeyes  in many places the guys fished
On a better note 1 of my buds that was not on Oneida sent me pics of 2 limits of eyes by sundown just so I didn't forget what they looked like lol ,

Where is coach with cans of skunk off? We put some miles on last night only to have mother Oneida hand us a whoopin'! Like Freddie said, we saw tons of bait and very murky water. Oh well.....maybe we all will be catching next time!
