Guys.. I have a question... a few years back I stayed at the log cabin that Marion manor marina rented out.. I heard that the building had been tore down... did they rebuild? Are they open? Can you launch there? I'm hoping to come up for a long weekend and is like to find a place to rent for a few days right on the water... any help is appreciated

Managed only 1 eye tonight along with about 25 pickerel and 1 drum. Eye was 27 1/2 inches which seemed good for Oneida. Would love to post a pic if I knew how. 

Just curious, how many of you guys have caught a 10+ pounder from Oneida?  Do they get that big in there?

I've been fishing Oneida over three decades and have never come across anything close to 10 pounds as far as walleyes. That 27 1/2 you caught is a really nice fish for Oneida lake. It would have won you a couple grand in the opening weekend tournament last week.

Well i to have fished Oneida for over 30 years , not saying there isn't some 10# fish there , just don't hold your breath
getting 1 , that 27.5 is a trophy from this lake IMO
Congrats on that one , Oneida isn't designed to be a trophy lake

I'm beginning to think I should have had this one mounted. It had big shoulders but the girth was lacking compared to the SLR eyes we catch so I didn't think much of it until now after reading the feedback.

No doubt on getting it mounted. It ties my personal best Oneida eye.
