Yo Guys & Gals,
First, thanks Bruce. It's always nice to have another tool. Next, I don't pat myself on the back too often when it comes to walleye fishing on Oneida. This morning was one of the few times I will reach around my back to do so. Tomorrow may be another story, I may have to find a way to kick my self in the butt, but for now , let me bask in my short lived glory. I did for the first time, limit this morning. It was an ideal weather day, cool and just enough chop to allow a perfect drift. I dragged my hammered brass worm harness wing and wing off the old Larson starting at 7:00 am from the south shore with a prevailing NW wind. All fish were caught in 22 to 18 fow. Old Boggey managed to lift eight total eyes off the bottom with the harness aforementioned. (2) shorts, (3) lost at the net and (3) keepers, 16, 19 and 20 inchers. Along with the eyes, I managed (2) huge sheepsheads, (1) pickerel, (1) 12 inch perch and a lone fat misguided blue gill. I was happily engaged in my fishing efforts till 10:30 when I returned to my normal mundane existence as a back yard agrarian, gardener, for the remainder of the day. Well, that's all for now. Give the old guy an (ataboy) and stay tuned for my mea culpa for all future skunks.
