Here’s an oldie but goodie.  Any of you trollers still pull the metal lipped jointed mirrolures?  Use to do great with those.

I have some but I never used them.

Rugburn it got a little warm out there got off at 11:00, not many fish for us. Not a very good feeling seeing that search, that's the second one in 2 years for our bay.

XC600 we're still shopping for a camp on the lake. Checked one out on the north shore near Godfrey, Andrew's Family Fishing Camp (AFFC) Friday. Anyone on here a member there, or know of the place? Seems like a good group of people. I don't think they plow the main drive there for ice fisher's, and that could be a deal breaker for me. It's been a tedious process, with lots of hidden gems yet to discover. Anyone with a lead for the wife and I to check, please PM me.

We're still working our way over towards your place P Pounder.

I'll keep my eyes open Rugburn. Rumors around our area is that Lewis Pt might be closed for ice access, owner and town issues. Hopefully they work things out.

Not to be a Debbie downer , I only went there three times at the beginning of ice season , noticed that the fence didn’t mean much as a guide , the guys were still cutting cross lots , some trash which I picked up 😡 I can’t blame them if they did

Thanks XC, KP is on the lookout also, thanks guys. It wouldn't take much to keep me happy, but the wife might be another story...lol. They have been very generous in letting the ice fishers use that access, I hope they know it's very appreciated by most users.

Got out with snag for some jigging , we boxed on eater eyes , He had the hotter jig stroke
My best fish of the evening was a Weed trout which was tossed back

Nice job Fred and Shane! Thought I saw Snag pass my house after you guys got in from fishing when I pulled in the driveway from work.  I have missed getting out with you guys the last few trips. Got 2 jobs going at once right now and family get togethers here and there that have been keeping me off the water. Can’t wait to get back out there!
Nice job findin em

Take easy Bobby heard you had a case of a little to much heat ,
We did quit a little early as snag was hoping to get a possible shot at the northern lights
