Fished with Snag again last night. It was another tough one for us. We traveled 4-5 miles from where we normally fish to try something different. Tried drifting and jigging, spot locking and vertical jigging, shallow, and deep. Ended up with one keeper eye, few shorts, sunnies, perch, and sheeps. Didn’t see as many bugs hatching last night so that was a good sign. Marked a bunch of fish so hoping for a little better fishing the rest of July and August. It was a beautiful night to be out and we ate some killer London broil sandwiches for dinner out there! Also thanks for the intel we received from Reeleyez! There were plenty of fish there but they flipped us the bird lol
Shane also caught a sheep with some interesting growths on it. I’ll post pics in a bit. Having trouble uploading pics here at work. Don’t have very good service here.
Nice job findin em

Those fish will pay eventually!

The past 2 years I have done better trolling for those deep fish. I can remember years past hammering deep eyes on bucktails this time of year.

The bugs are all rotting and in piles on the lake, still enough to make a mess but they will be gone soon. Water temp was 72 now, trolling is good stuff with baitfish blades In all the colors we run. Silver, rainbow and perch blades are doing it, haven't had the gold on yet but the perch ones have gold in them and work well we got 8 and a few perch in 4 hours trolling, good stuffs.
