I might just take a ride to Cortland and check it out, the old fashioned way. I'd like to see their store anyway. Thanks F&R! Good luck to those going out, I'm a couple weeks away yet.

Last night ended up being nice. Light winds and no rain. I even fooled 3 eyes into taking a ride in my cooler.  ;D

Four of us came to Oneida thurs - today caught bunch of perch few eyes and Rockies….the highlight for me and buddy that was in boat with me were up canal from sylvan beach Saturday right before dark drifting ,I was using a heavier ugly stick with 20# power pro and 14# lead for a big blade bait…I was aggressively ripping and rod just stopped thought I was snagged then rod started pumping I laughed and told buddy I think I have a sturgeon on ,,,he laughed,,, I said I’m serious ,,,Friday I had few on but was using lighter rod and 6# line so I just broke them off,,,but this one was a fight I had it on for about 35 mins and it started coming up and I reeled to keep up ,,,and then 10 feet from boat it came completely out of water was awesome! My buddy yelled “holly F man that thing was as big as you” and man it was close! Had to be between 5-6 ‘ it was so cool then I’d dove hard and I could feel line scraping on something probably rock and POP broke and it was gone!
Great weekend!

Did anybody go to the festival?

There were a good amount of boats out on Saturday. Definitley good for the local economy!  :thumbup_smilie:
