It's always a lot of views on topics but no one ever answers a post. I know if someone post about a question in wyoming you get a response

For some reason, the Nebraska guys seem to be pretty much absent from MFF.  The pike should be active in the shallows about now.

Good fishing,

Keith

Not much has changed with the Nebraska guys posting on MFF since the last time.  I haven't been to Box Butte, but the pike almost always are willing to play there.  There are also some nice gills there too, as well as some catfish, perch, crappies, and walleyes.

A friend once said to me: "If you wait to hear the news, you are too late!"  I don't think it is ever "too late" at Box Butte.

Good luck,

Keith

Bureau of reclamation web site shows plenty of water on the ramp.  I have no info about the fishing.
