Blue Duck,
It's going to get loud with three Yankees coming to fish the Snake (south & henry) in september. Is alot of the irrigation draw over by the first week or is it later when they start backing things up? We've got 8 days out there so we want to see some great places. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
 Fish it

I will have to reply to myself... Idaho and the snake river is some of the prettiest country in the world. The Tetons are amazing. why do I live in over taxed NY? Amazing fishing and great people. when I figure how to post pics. I will send pictures of the 3 species I knocked off my life list while I was there. Fiespot cutts,Yellowstone cutts, and a river run male Sockeye salmon. what a surprise he was. I thought i would have to wait for Alaska to get him. The Swan Valley section of the S.Fork is amazing and I could spend a month fishing only there.

How is the fishing on the Snake during the winter low flows? Seems that it would be a great fishery in January/February.. Any info?

Upper or lower? You can get some steelhead on the lower snake around that time.
