working the 1st  will be out the 2nd. I work nights so i will find a place close to wet a line on the first.  If this weather keeps up I may hit the kennebec befor the first.

never fished the penobscot. I live close to the kennebec so that makes it hard to try other places with all the good water hhere. I fish from a kayack alot in the river. what is the penobscott like.  I would love to get into some big salmon on lite spinning gear sometime. most of the salmon that I catch here are spring stockers before the stripers get them.

where on the west branch ??? what kind of lures ???

cant say the spot or lure if you show up I will take you to the store to get what you need.And then to the spot know one fishes it but me and 2-3 guys for the first 3 weeks in april.I have had salmon over 7 lbs smack my lure it has some nice fish

Loveice I would be interested in trying the Penobscot. Let me know if you would like to take me. it would be great trying a new spot. I have never fished it only the Kennebec.

what kind of water will we be in? do we have to go through any rapids? and where do we meet.??

Im trying to get all this togeather I just found out the bridge I get across to go will be only open for foot traffic and that stinks I am trying to get my other bear bait truck togeather and park it on the other side

if i can find a spot of open water I will be heading to lake auburn as soon as school gets out (maybe a little earlier if i don't have any tests ;)) last year i got out at 11 so i got a chance! ;)

YEAH JUST WENT TO THE FUNERAL FOR HER BROTHER. THE WORST FUNERAL IVE EVER BEEN TO.THE GIRLS ARE HAVING A BAD TIME OF IT BUT THEYRE COOPING. NOT EASY TO LOSE A CHILD. THANKS FOR THE CONDOLENCES. YEAH ME ,YOU AND ANTHONY SHOULD GET TOGETHER. I COULD PROBABLY GET THE SUN. AFTER THE 1ST. OFF ALSO. WHY DONT WE TRY FOR THAT DAY IF THE WEATHER HOLDS. looks like going opening day and saterday, got a truck on the other side of the river,the bridge is out on the west branch of the penobscot and thats OK have truck will fish Anthony you think your going saterday

dude it's going to pour on saterday...least thats the lates I have heard so far.
There is an MHA dinner at olive garden in Augsta that Sara and I are going to at 4pm so I can't do it then. Sunday I can all day if your into it, but its sappose to rain then too. Or mabe my weather man is just on crack? Too bad we couldn't have chatted longer at the sportsman show but it ws WAS to crazy there huh!

How did you do? I naild two nice rainbows 17" and 19" back into the river they went. If the rain beraks tomorry I'll hit them again.

couldn't stay to get some grub with you at the sportsman show but thanks for showing me around...got some great tips on training my pup.....missed you anthony.....easy to do with the crowd!  no bites on the boat....I wish I had the time to keep it there for the weekend but oh well, maybe uncle henrys will be the answer!
