Hey  guys whowants to go open water fishing for big salmon april 1 ;D

I thought about taking the cover off the boat today when I saw open water...

working the 1st  will be out the 2nd. I work nights so i will find a place close to wet a line on the first.  If this weather keeps up I may hit the kennebec befor the first.

never fished the penobscot. I live close to the kennebec so that makes it hard to try other places with all the good water hhere. I fish from a kayack alot in the river. what is the penobscott like.  I would love to get into some big salmon on lite spinning gear sometime. most of the salmon that I catch here are spring stockers before the stripers get them.

cant say the spot or lure if you show up I will take you to the store to get what you need.And then to the spot know one fishes it but me and 2-3 guys for the first 3 weeks in april.I have had salmon over 7 lbs smack my lure it has some nice fish

Loveice I would be interested in trying the Penobscot. Let me know if you would like to take me. it would be great trying a new spot. I have never fished it only the Kennebec.

what kind of water will we be in? do we have to go through any rapids? and where do we meet.??

Im trying to get all this togeather I just found out the bridge I get across to go will be only open for foot traffic and that stinks I am trying to get my other bear bait truck togeather and park it on the other side
