Shore fishing just opened today @ the Q

Any idea if this applies to wachusett? They took the no fishing signs down...

I had to call the Quabbin Visitor Center to be sure about the Q, they said nothing about the Chu.

I sent in the paperwork for the Night Pass long ago and have heard nothing back... You can't get more "Social Distancing" than fish the Q at night...

For sure. In fact I sometimes wish there were a few more folks there at night. It's gets scary:-)

My sentiments exactly.  Darker and less people is better.  Granted...after years of surfcasting at night, I switched to mousing for browns at night.  The river is considerably scarier! I've had all sorts of wild encounters.  If I remember Allan ran into a few critters last season.

Too many darn black bears down near you.  Makes the night fishing a little spooky.  Staying dry at night isn't always guaranteed either.
