Nice job on opening day! We had some terrible conditions today, and I think things will be a little slow going this year. It's been cold and it's going to take another week or two for things to green up and draw them in. But, I'll be patiently waiting.

Actually the big pike and walleye I got a couple weeks before opening day. I was tossing around a strike king kvd 2.5 square bill for smallmouth. The small pike I actually got about an hour after opening.
I have started noticing some green weeds growing in delta lake already.

Either way, nice fish. Good to know that Delta is starting to green up. I bet the sun being out the next couple days will turn things on there. If only I didn't have to work.

I may take tmrw off if the weather cooperates. I'll have to see if the launch is open yet. If not, I'll have to look into spots in the back sets to fish from shore. I'm not real familiar with Delta.

Launch is in and open at delta. I know where pike hide out but you gotta battle the pickerel to get to them haha
