Pancake DownRigger weights?
« on: May 13, 2006, 07:45 AM »
Does anyone know what the pro's and con's are for these?

Are they better trolling than the ball type???

They just go through the water with less resistance so you get less swing back in the cable.

they run straight and true.  i put a bend in the tail fin on my outside riggers to get the ball out away from the boat alittle more.they are more money but worth every dime.

Another down fall is they can dart over and tangle another rigger if it is rough.
