lead core, copper wire, stainless steel wire etc ?
« on: Jun 07, 2006, 08:34 AM »
Anyone point to some references about trolling lines, techniques vs. monofilament with a massive weight on a triple swivel!  I happen to have a Penn reel spooled up with stainless ( I think it is anyway) steel wire on a rod with rollers instead of eyes I picked up at garage sale.  I thought it just looked cool, now I'm thinking I just might use the thing.  Any ideas?

You can run it with a dipsey or run it with a drop weight off a board like lead core.
