want to try something fun some time buy a few cans of dads(or whatever) soft caned dog food,(i like liver flavors) and cum the water you are fishing for bull head and catfish. I have cought so many bull heads where the guy next to me wont get crap.  Realy does bring them in.  Try this and tell me how it works for you.
