I am ready for open water

The ice gear is still on stand by if I get the urge but my next trip out will be open water from shore. Couple rivers around here are open going to see if there are any Cats or Suckers kicking around.

wont be long now Ron, I have been checking all the usual spots around creeks and culverts, things are opening up and I actually saw some bait move in shallow for the first time this year on Sunday so the panfish will soon follow

Nice Pic.  I've been driving around Loughbrough the last couple of days, I think I will be able to get the boat in on Saturday and try my hand for lakers.

I'm getting excited!
